Love him as a player but he's not right tonight. Walking and really looking a struggle for him out there.
So many casual passed into players with people around them. Kipre's pass was a shocker and they really should have scored.
Leif Davis didn't do enough at all for their goal and Cajuste again with no urgency to recover.
Really frustrating. Glimpses that we can come into it with some good attacking moves but disjointed.
Need to rely on our ability to come strong at the end.
So frustrating to miss a pen and then concede an own goal. Goes from being a a scrappy but hard earned lead to a sloppy deficit. |  |

He seems to have become a bit of an easy target - apart from a poor non-attempt to close Hackney down on the edge I don't think he's done too much wrong. Think the bigger issue for our midfield is Matusiwa isn't hitting the same levels as he has been - getting knocked about a bit too much and his work on the ball isn't very clean. |  |

He hasn't, he's really struggled tonight with the pace and energy in their midfield.
He's a quality footballer but he's still clearly got some work to do on our an out fitness. Not such an issue when we have all the ball.
He's a really good player for us but not quite worked for us in midfield. It's by a mile Boro's best area of the pitch so understandable tona degree. | |

I suggested that Nunez might be a better bet, over Cajuste, to start tonight against against their midfield, as he has more bite about him; that would have allowed Cajuste to play as the #10, given Szmodics fitness concerns.
The suggestion was roundly dismissed; but I stand by it & feel we would be in a better situation at this point (69th minute), had we started with them in those positions. | |
