I think the shoreline flattered us somewhat. Palmer pulled off some worldie saves - he’s not repeating that every week.
The performance was more disappointing than the result for me, very few things came off for us today. Boro showed how to play with pace and determination. People were bemoaning Derby and Preston low blocking us and killing the game. Boro came to play us tonight and beat us at our own game. | | | |

Our Xg was 1.97 compared to their 1.86. we had 17 shots to their 15, 5 shots on target each.
Just saying.
Don't get me wrong, I think they deserved to win, and at times it was a defensive horror show from us, but the idea we should have been hammered and weren't in the game is a bit daft. |  |

I Genuinelly felt like it was ipswich v leeds away again. Where we could have scored 3 but boro should have scored more. we just didn't manage the game well at all, far far to advanced by our side when ever we got to the final third, leaving just 2 defenders on halfway inviting the counter.
