Gary O Neil - on Sky sports 23:05 - Oct 20 with 2010 views | Portman_Pie | Watching Gary O’Neil on the after match analysis on tonight’s game - and damn he talks a good talk. Keen to see him back in a managerial role, to see if he can have as much as an impact as I’ve been led to believe he can based on his performance this evening [Post edited 20 Oct 23:06]

Merson makes that Saturday afternoon show totally unwatchable. I end up muting and just watch the scores update.

Sacked by both Bournemouth and Wolves. Everytime those teams lost his post match interview would be him blaming everyone but himself. I would be amazed if he got a premier job again and there hasn't been much interest from the championship either. If Norwich sack Manning and appoint O'Neil I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

I know what you mean but.... getting sacked doesn't mean you neccasarily tank. Look at Dyche and the others doing the merry-go-round. ONeill doing SkySports means he's putting his name out there. He's not doing it for Norwich.

Firstly, he's a genuinely lovely bloke, real passion for football and a lot brighter than the average ex player, of say. But secondly, he's spoken quite openly about not being that bothered by returning to management. Felt he wasn't given the support by the board, particularly at Wolves and didn't want to put his family through all that again. I'd be surprised if he went back in.

Bournemouth and Wolves both improved significantly after he was replaced. He said last night that he’s very keen to get back in.

His comments that were quoted in the EADT following the Boro defeat made my blood boil. If he thinks his opinion and tactical insight is warranted given his managerial record then he’s hugely mistaken.
Gary O Neil - on Sky sports on 09:15 - Oct 21 with 708 views | Plums | I thought the on-screen part of his NCFC interview went very well. I'm hoping he's appointed and has the same instant success that the previous guy to go through the same process - Will Still has had.

Gary O Neil - on Sky sports on 09:46 - Oct 21 with 600 views | football | What I find interesting is that that lot only seem to list managers who have previously been at the club as potential candidates - or that is their seemed preference anyway. Personally, I'm hoping for Martin as I think he will continue the job that agent Manning is doing so well
