Sacked by both Bournemouth and Wolves. Everytime those teams lost his post match interview would be him blaming everyone but himself. I would be amazed if he got a premier job again and there hasn't been much interest from the championship either. If Norwich sack Manning and appoint O'Neil I wouldn't lose sleep over it. |  | | |

I know what you mean but.... getting sacked doesn't mean you neccasarily tank. Look at Dyche and the others doing the merry-go-round. ONeill doing SkySports means he's putting his name out there. He's not doing it for Norwich. | | | |

His lad plays for Palace academy in the same age group as my boy, have met him at a few tournaments.
Firstly, he's a genuinely lovely bloke, real passion for football and a lot brighter than the average ex player, of say.
But secondly, he's spoken quite openly about not being that bothered by returning to management. Felt he wasn't given the support by the board, particularly at Wolves and didn't want to put his family through all that again.
