However I'd like to see a plan B of a 4-3-3 with a fluid 3 up front being trialled, dropping the 10 for another midfielder, if things aren't going to plan.

I had toyed with bringing in Nunez at the expense of a 10 but I don't think he'll do that.

Let them have the ball , lump it long a few times, cause a bit of confusion.. 3-0 down, passing back to the goalie , passing it about at the back is ludicrous.

Clarke has played well on the right.

Also, I'd be happy to drop Jaden for Clarke based on the last two outings.

Played well in spells on the right against Norwich and Charlton.

I’m more conflicted than ever.

Palmer’s absence worries me a good deal for my sins. Furlong back in as I didn’t see the offensive improvements I’d hoped for from Young. Greaves over Kipre by a whisker, pray those two have a solid game together.

100% on Cajuste; start the man but hook him as soon as he starts allowing the opposition free reign behind him. If that means on 30’ then let’s do it lol, must put the team first.

Dropping Clarke feels criminal as mentioned above, but Jaden’s goalscoring threat is from the left and boy could we do with another calming rocket from the lad. Clarke would be my preference on the right honestly because I haven’t seen Sindre or Kasey stake a strong enough claim, while Clarke delivered a couple of devilish crosses from the right on Tuesday. Could be persuaded by McAteer on defensive grounds if West Brom pose a particular threat down that flank.

Agree on the double As.

Jack Clarke didn’t play on the right against Norwich. When making the subs KM stood McAteer down and moved an Jaden into the right and kept Jack on the left. Same against Boro.

Tried to block Charlton from my mind but Jack Clarke was my MOTM against Charlton but I don’t recall him playing on the right. Of course he started the game on the left where he did much of his best work. Although you may be correct as he put a ovely ball in to Hirst from the right.

You may say that pre season doesn’t matter but he was one of the lowest ranked players in those games when playing on the right. I also said the early league games and was universally panned for those performances. He looked absolutely lost on the right.

He played on the right against Southampton and Preston, picking up and average rating of 5.3 against Saints and 3.8 against Preston. His subsequent ratings whilst playing on the left have been 6, 7.2, 6.1, 6.6, 7.1, 5.6 and 6.4 (personally I’d give him an 8 for his last game).

In conclusion I can’t agree with you that we should be starting Clarke on the right. If we are going to play both Clarke and Jaden then it would be Jaden who I would play there. But as I’ve previously said, Davis plays far better with Jaden in front of him. He’s been a great decoy fur defenders which gave Jaden the space to score sone of his wonderful goals.

Anyway, football is all about opinions.
