Yes but it’s daft that they are selling the tickets in the usual manner. It should have been first refusal to those of us who were at the abandoned game.

Hey now, hey now, don't dream it's over

4000 tickets (and probably could get more if we needed) on a Tuesday night in December, a week after Hull away and a few days after Oxford - I very much doubt this will sell out

If a point is awarded there will be far more tickets sold than people who go to the game, especially those entitled to half price this time.

While the points system should reward those who go every week there are people buying tickets for the point and selling the ticket on, or simply not going, to maintain their 'position'.

The club will have to carry out their threat to deduct points from those that don’t turn up at Blackburn.

They’ll be wasting their money. Club bound to be hot on it in the circumstances, especially if there’s empty seats in the middle of the block.

To be honest, taking advantage of the Club’s good stance on this takes the p!ss really.

“Supporters are reminded that the Club reserve the right to work with other Clubs to check entry scan data to ensure supporters who purchase are in attendance. Should a supporter to be found to not have attended, the Club reserve the right to remove the Away Priority Point.”

Are people really that dim?
It's a weird way of supporting your club. Giving the opposition free cash whilst your team play in front of empty seats.
Another reason to detest what football's becoming.

All being well, unless an anticipated funeral is that week, I'll be there - without 'points'...

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.
