A lot of clubs have contacted PGMOL to explain/clarify decisions, ourselves included.
Not that I think it's right as everyone (from club officials to fans to pundits) should just accept mistakes/poor decisions happen but it's hardly unique to Liverpool.
Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

That’s always been a goal in football until the last couple of VAR-blighted seasons. It’s a cancer on the game.
Going back a bit it certainly would have been ruled out for offside. It used to be very clear before they started muddying the rules with things like intent. (See also handball).

Interfering with play. Thats exactly why he was stood there.
I was delighted to see the correct decision was made.
Under the current guidance given on offsides, it shouldn't have been given imo. He doesn't try to play the ball and he doesn't prevent an opposing player from getting to the ball. He ducks out of the way and he doesn't prevent the keeper from seeing or getting to it. I'm not sure if it was given offside onfield, if it was then fair enough for not overruling it as it's not a clear and obvious error to give it but I don't think VAR should be giving that off if the officials haven't given it.
