Lots of letdown and heartbreak on our visits to Oxford over the years:
-Losing 4-3 from 3-0 up in 85/86. A win or a draw in that game would have kept us up at their expense.
Conceding stoppage time equalisers in 98/99 and 21/22. The former helped deny us automatic promotion.
The fog game with a referee making up the rules and it ended up biting us.

We had the precursor to this year’s Blackburn away there a few years back - I remember it was belting down, conditions worsened, the teams went off, and the ref tried to roll the ball through a massive puddle and failed. The match was completed in the end because their ground actually does drain - a 0-0 draw we were pretty pleased with at the time as I recall | | | |

I know a lot of our fans will shout tinpot at them, but screw them. I love pyros, fireworks, flames and sh*t.
I suspect the same could be labelled by rivals at us putting the lyrics for EEJB, but it's been hugely positive imo.
