You could see we had to play a slightly different way tonight. Some serious fatigue.
Clarke, Cajuste and Hirst have to come in really. It's just how many others.

5 changes for me. The entire front line.
Hirst for Azon. No brainer.
Clarke for Jaden. Now way KM plays Jaden for the entire game when he could have put Clarke on the right and McAteer on the left.
Szmods for Nunez, Will need his battling qualities in a tough away game.
McAteer for Sindre. McAteer against his old club and Sindre is a young player who need to be managed and was fairly anonymous tonight.
Cajuste for Taylor. Cajuste has been very effective when he came on in the last two games. Taylor may have a sickness bug.
Wouldn't change any of the back 4 or the keeper. |  |

Agreed with Radio Suffolk tonight where they were saying its easy to make 5 changes after Saturday if you were playing Sheff Wed, less so when playing Stoke.
As was said, think the 2 games in 5 days resulted in a more controlled performance, almost subdued but actually a very professional performance. Playing out from the back tonight was pretty flawless (heart in mouth moments really dropping off recently, but of course the errors will be remembered strong).
So, back on topic, expect the 5 changes on Saturday as most will, and they will need the travelling support to deliver as well - after Leicester throwing away a 2 goal lead a solid start by Town and their fans will turn on them. Hopefully our recently defensive solidity will continue | | | |

I’d love to see a settled team, but I don’t think it’s realistic. Coventry and Stoke were two tough, intense games. Keep the defence the same and swap some of the players further up the pitch. They’ll be raring to go and this is where the squad we have is an advantage. |  | | |

That’s how I see it tbh, although if Taylor is fit enough I’d start him. They do have a weeks gap until the Wednesday game so if the legs are willing ideally I’d start as close to last nights team as possible (bar Azon), but I’m not sure that’s realistic. | |

Agree, bring Hirst back and make any changes where required if players have knocks or a suspension, but this is a big 3 game week and we need to go strong for each game.
We have a blank midweek after this, so he could give the players a few days off if he wanted to. Sheffield Wednesday only have pride to play for, and are playing with that pride, but a changed team should have enough to beat them on December 20 and then he has the strongest team back and refreshed for the Christmas run. |  | | |
