A question for those who post about abusive fans 14:01 - Dec 22 with 1190 viewsFrimleyBlue

Have you reported these people to the club?

It is in the terms of the ticket purchase that foul abusive language etc isn't acceptable. If theres an obvious increase in it then surely the club needs to be made aware and if they have been made aware and not done anything about it... then thats a great question to ask at the next fan forum..

FFS Frimmers.

I felt it was an acceptable question. Clearly there is a strong view about it and its getting to the point its ruining people's experiences of the day. So why not raise it with the club. Perhaps people having actions taken against them would lead to others being more careful about what they do at football..

Obviously someone saying ffs is one thing but if someone's calling a player a cnt etc thst we've read on here i think they're ones that should be raised with the club.

I'd have thought it is pretty obvious that people who are posting about this are wanting to see people be more supportive of the team, not that they are offended by language.

Yeah i get that for some. But there posts about player abuse.. just thinking if those are reported it could resolve some of those issues and maybe in turn generate better support.

6000 on the waiting list. Hopefully 6000 who dont want to throw abuse.. who could take the place of those who do.. thus increasing the support levels.

Well you would think it is.... however.... history suggests otherwise when observing the OP

Of course. Ideal scenario. But we see weekly multiple posts about the subject its interesting to see that many appear happy to stop at the point of doing something that may stop it incase they lose their ticket.

If someone could explain how im misinterpreting abuse then ill happily admit im wrong.

My OP was solely about abusive fans. Not the odd fk or sht thrown out. Those labelled as throwing abuse at players. My op subject does indeed say abusive.

Huge difference between what I posted and what you're suggesting.
Swearing is part of being on the terraces, always have been.

No one gets upset about words on a weekly basis, people do get pi55ed off with the intent, but hardly anyone is losing sleep about swearing, and literally no-one wants to be a horrible little sh1t and 'report' people for some colourful language.

So in your post you didnt mean to say they abused hirst. They just swore about him.

Its cool. Im just referring to those who actually felt fans abused players. I think those should be reported. And agree those who swear but dont abuse is just a social thing as annoying it is.

No. Your post was about abusive language, you weren't specific to players.

Your point was literally, it's in the "terms of the ticket purchase that foul abusive language etc isn't acceptable". It was all about the odd fk or sht.

You're gaslighting.

Telling a player he is "sh*t" and that he should "f.ck off out of our club" as someone was shouting at Jack Clarke at Leicester last week is not something you will get banned for
