Probably my top 3 in that order.
Honourable mentions for Rosalia, Jasmine.4.t, Dead Pioneers, Slime City, Sprints, Soulwax, Self Esteem, Big Special, CMAT, Pigs x7, Clipping and Turnstile. I'm sure I've missed a few others, it's been an incredible year for music.

Just outside the top 5 - Soulwax, Bdrmm, Viagra Boys.
Overall it's not been a year with loads of albums that have really blown me away though, lots of 6/10 albums that I've liked, but not loved. Hence last year's top 20 is only a top 5 this year!

Another vote for Mandrake Handshake. I saw them at Latitude and they were one of the highlights for me.

Ad Astra by Ash is the best thing they’ve done in 20 years. It’s brilliant
I've been listening to this after your mention of it (I didn't even know they had a new album out) and you're right, it's superb. Sounds like they're just having fun - it's a really upbeat album (in particular I can't stop singing/bouncing around to their cover of Jump In The Line... and I love Fun People with Graham Coxon too).
