Hello from a Bristol City fan.
Ahead of our forthcoming game I’m putting together the opening post for our forum’s (One Team in Bristol, https://www.otib.co.uk/?_fromL match thread, which will be posted the day before the match.
I would like to include some perspectives from your fans so if anybody would like to share info please do, anything would be appreciated, fans thoughts about the game, players who have represented both clubs, tales from when we’ve met previously, a fans view on your season, the return of Sam Morsy, etc.

Sam Morsy will probably dominate this thread.
If Matusiwa doesn't get himself suspended and Morsy starts that could be a brilliant battle to witness.
The more I think of it, assuming Morsy would have open to a town return, the more I think it was own goal in not doing it. We're currently looking for midfield cover and the general consensus is that we need defensive midfield cover for Matusiwa. Sam Morsy's replacement in the summer was Azor Matusiwa, you do the maths.
The only question mark is how much of an effect his 6 months of no real game time has had. By all accounts he was pretty good in your cup game though?
He was the ultimate 'he was everywhere' player in his time at Portman Road. It's gutting he wouldn't commit to a 5th year. I would have offered him another 2 year deal to be honest. |  |

Not sure us Town fans should be writing off Bristols chance of automatic promotion as yet , ok unlikely but still possible and an in form Morsy would greatly help towards that . Most Town fans myself included would love to know what went on to end Sam's Town career, some of us claim they know but honestly we are just guessing. Mr Paul of cook said of mr Sam of morsy. You will never lose with this man in your team, or something along those lines. Others may be able to find the actual comment. So expect a serious driving force in the centre of your team, making team mates work harder and smarter.
He was fantastic for us during his time here and is much missed, but like in life the only constant is change and we all move on with fond memories of our former Egyptian king. | | | |

Great comment from Neil Warnock was that you could put Morsy in a locked room by himself, and he'd still get a yellow card.
But he is a club legend for us. The best leader we've had on the pitch for decades, and up there with Magilton, Mills and Baxter. [Post edited 14 Jan 6:34]
