Fair point. I would say our economic security and peaceful existence right now. Feel free to factor in culture and the longer term impact, though.
Personally, as per the voting so far, I see more threat from the USA than from either Russia or China.
I still think Russia - they’re engaged in the largest war in Europe since WW2, and led to over 200k deaths. It caused an economically devastating impact to the continent including UK and if it were to fall they’d control one of the largest grain exporters in the world. Not to mention the ongoing sabotage of European infrastructure, and cyber attacks.
If you are talking economics then the US and EU/UK markets are completely reliant on each other, they export nearly 2trn from the US, their firms have huge presence here and obviously they stepped back from the harshest tariffs as it would be completely self defeating. The Russian made energy crisis was far more damaging, and inflation is still working through the system now. Most western stock markets are still near record highs despite the political volatility. Economically, Liz Truss caused more damage…

I find it remarkable there are people who genuinely feel immigrants pose a greater threat to the UK than anyone. It shows the power of the media's demonisation of them.

Indeed and the fact it’s a secret ballot so no real bantz or arguments benefit for them … it could be just for giggles but the inclusion on the poll itself is a little left field to be honest. I went for those pesky Russkies for the same reasons as SKM gave and that it’s also right now … my choice would certainly change with a different template.

Ultimately AI could get let loose without anyone behind it, I guess but not yet.
I haven't actually voted yet because I haven't really thought it through but I think I would not be inclined to vote for the specific things mentioned. Indeed, perhaps it's not appropriate to single out one thing when there are so many issues troubling the World.
