Good work wetting the bed based on your own assumption.

| Norwich interested in Danish striker on 19:23 - Jan 28 with 3256 views | Horsham | I might be wrong but I’d be pretty sure our recruitment people would know about him and that secondly if we want him and Norwich want him than we’d be strong favourites to sign him…. So I guess if we’re not after him he’s not all that or we’re looking at someone a bit better. | | | |

Luckily no beds have been wet. They might be if I have to watch Hirst mis-control a ball for 60mins, or Azon roll about the floor, or Akpom just wonder around the pitch. Be a laugh if that Danish fella turns out to be ok though, as it'll really make our recruitment team and a few in the fan base look a little silly. Equally if he's as poor as the 3 we have then I'll look silly. A risk I'm willing to take

You already look silly making a ridiculous assumption about a player who you'd never heard of 5mins ago

For some reason, it seems to be a club where the players really shine there, but struggle in different teams, pieces for puzzle etc. Jens Peter Hauge is the one you’d want from Bodo, exceptional footballer.

based on me not thinking our strikers have been much use this season? would put our home attendances at about 1500 if that were the case.

Part of them looking good there but struggling elsewhere is they play on an artificial 4g pitch. It’s a completely different surface to grass. Also their environment is pretty harsh. I think they are on edge of Arctic circle so adapting elsewhere is probably a big challenge.

With regards to Hauge, I think he pretty much epitomises the first part of your observation. Made some big moves within Europe and has still found himself back at Bodo.

No, more based on your not very extensive posting history almost exclusively consisting of posts critical about Town and praising Norwich. I actually agree that none of our number 9s have been great this season, but I don't assume a punt from the Norwegian league is definitely going to be way better either. [Post edited 28 Jan 22:23]

He has, but I do think he’s an exception, from the times I’ve seen him in European competitions - he does look a really special player, has looked like the absolute standout for them in the Champions League. His performances against Spurs and Man City were top. He left, but he left early, was about 20 when he got his move to Milan, as you say never worked out and never settled anywhere really - but I do think, from what I’ve seen at 26 he could go on to play at the next level tbf.

It is a different environment, the temperatures and surface are an equaliser for teams that aren’t custom to it, big teams have gone there anf really struggled in Europe. What I would say though, they have had successful away days, in what you would call more normal conditions. I remember them going to Celtic a few years ago and they absolutely shredded them apart the pitch, 3-1 on the night and was the first I thought ‘who are these guys’, they were so impressive, currently beat Atletico Madrid away tonight. Something really special at that club, seem to have that magic formula right now!
