As we have 1 squad space empty, do we do anything with it?

Any U21's worth having (or can we use them anyway) ?

u-21s don't need to have a squad space unless they're on loan, so that only leaves luca fletcher or frankie runham if we think either are near the first team.

townsend is an option if we think he'll be fit by the end

don't know any free agents, but this is how we brought in tuanzebe, so it can happen

We have Davis and greaves for LB. Young when he comes back, we are fine for cover

Can I ask why? Have you watched him consistently for the under 21’s and genuinely think he would get anywhere near to the levels Davis has these past few years to even deserve a start, let alone a run of games?

honestly based on only one in person viewing this year, but he looked very good, very engaged - is he about to take over Davis; nope. But we have to create some mechanism for bedding in the young'uns otherwise what's the point of them?

If we thought Runham may be needed in the first team this season I expect we would have signed him permanently now, rather than a loan with an obligation to buy.

If we were going to take a small gamble.on someone getting up to speed and being a good option to bolster the team off the bench I'd lean toward Oxlade-Chamberlain.

He could make an impact. But probably reasonably costly and would remain to be seen how quickly he could be up to speed. At least be has played some football. Good cover and option for 10.

I don't think we'll take anyone though.
