Tough month of fixtures coming up, and having dropped points in the last two it feels like we need to get a decent return from it to keep pace with the top 2. I'm annoyed that the Portsmouth game was cancelled as that felt like the most winnable and could (no guarantees!) have got us off to a decent start for the month.
I think we need, and that we'll get, 7 points. Can't see us taking all 3 of those away games without a defeat.

I would be delighted with 8.
Our away form this season says that 8 points from this run of games would be an amazing return. If we carry on our current away PG average, we'll get 5 points from these 4 games.
We've lost only 6% of our home games, compared with 38% of our away games. To go through this run of 4 games unbeaten would be a really impressive upturn. But if we are to have any hopes of automatic promotion, we need wins. After these 4 games we only have 13 left, and that's not a lot of road in terms of making up a points deficit against the best sides. Currently 7 points off 2nd, albeit with a game in hand.
I fear the away form will cost us, both in terms of not avoiding the playoffs, and in terms of how we fare in the playoffs. But February could well prove me very wrong, and I hope it does. |  | | |

Not a great-looking month at a time when we could really do with a soft home game or two, but we've used a lot of those up. Like you I'll be amazed if we come away from all three of these away games unscathed but we need to find a way to win at least one. The three away games give me Derby/Bolton away vibes from 22/23. All play off contenders. Feel like we need to go to a couple of these places, be at our best, show our quality and win.
