I swear it has literally been raining for about a month straight now. It doesn’t stop. I’m between the Chilterns and Suffolk quite a lot and it doesn’t seem to change based on where I am in the country try either. Just checked the weather forecast for Derby tomorrow - RAINING. Rain.

It's been awful this year.
Not very good for astrophotography either, used to get lovely crisp winters nights but now it seems to be constant rain and clouds.

December and January and most if February are wet. Now i've commented on this I can easily track it to post it in the height of summer when people moan about needing a bit of rain. SHORT TERM MEMORIES some people have.
But having said this when Im retired I plan to spend most of winter overseas in the campervan.

It's the balance of nature, innit. Last year I swear I only saw rain about 3 times in 6 months. It was so dry that brown needles were falling off my conifers in amounts I've never seen before. "It's the circle of life......" |  | | |
