It may be the perfect outcome and I don't want to turn this into a go at Hirst. But can there be a striker more out of form than that fella. He couldn't trap a bag of cement. I watched the game on BBC Wales and the commentators must have been watching a different game to myself. They said Wrexham could have been three nil up in the first half. They obviously didn't see the two chances Hirst had and the one where Akpom managed to put a headed two feet wide of the far post when about two yards out a a few feet from the near post.
I thought Cajuste had a decent game and McAteer wasn't bad either.
Egeli did better when McAteer went off, but he was generally poor. Not a £17 million player at the moment. Don't know what was up with Kipre. It has been said he looks a bit off at the moment.
