The problem the merchant ships that are stuck in the Arabian Gulf is that there are about 1000 ships stuck there.
The need to be underway to make fresh water. They need to dock for provisions. Neither of these things are happening.
It’s fast becoming an issue.
Out fresh water tanks can hold 242t of fresh water. We consume 5-7t per day on an average day. But in the Arabian Gulf that would be more. In that heat you shower more, you do more laundry, you drink more.
Definitely those ships won’t have had full tanks at the start of the closure.
That’s without the risk of falling debris, ships carrying dangerous goods, it’s a disaster. |

Agree on Israel but that’s a slightly revisionist version of the Iranian regime. Iran have used their proxies to expand their power across the region, grabbing a big chunk of Yemen, occupying southern Lebanon, and with active groups in Iraq and Syria.
