Its a massive shit stain, and a huge error in judgement for which there needs to be some accountability. It's certainly damaging to the the image and potentially very commercially damaging if sponsors or supporters push back in a meaningful way, but its not going to end the club ffs. This stems from somebody at the club (possibly Ashton) doing them personally wrong on a fairly large scale.
This is a grudge, a personal thing - It has to be as its simply too deep rooted.

If they had proper footballing knowledge they would have made a joke about the disparity between our squad in terms of left and right wingers.
Memes are just that. It is unpleasant to be the butt of the joke, but these are jokes. Nigel Farage held up a shirt. That is what happened. It's awful to see and frankly worse than any of the memes!
But the mere fact that other fans are joking about it does not say anything about the degree to which the club messed up.
The club did, seemingly, mess up. It's particularly unfortunate given how long there is before the next round of games.
But the club does not support Reform, and whether they get into power (heaven help us) will not be determined by Nigel Farage holding up a shirt, or the resulting memes that will be doing the rounds for a week or so.
