Weird thing to say. That's like saying "the high street, a cesspit of perverts". Sure, i am sure there are odd people on there, but there are hundreds of subredits for everyything from Magic the Gathering to Married at First Site. It's simply a platform, a forum, as this is.

If they’ve got more important things to do than save our clubs entire future, I’d be surprised!!! Brand equity and commercial value in 2026 is everything, for coaches, players, managers, and clubs. Ours just FELL OFF A CLIFF and nothing to do with Reform, association with any party not in government exclusively wouldn’t be a good idea commercially. De facto. The clubs value, the players commercial opportunities, and the staffs commercial opportunities, and the bank balances of their agents (I wouldn’t underestimate that one) just took a massive nose dive!! If you think that isn’t important.., give it six months. We’re finished as a club!!! And I do mean finished. If we have 80% less commercial value, because we prefer party politics to football, I promise the lack of success in our future will mar mid table league one look like a picnic!! I love this club. Not a point about reform, but if I was their biggest fan, and I was an agent with a player, who was also their biggest fan, he’d be signing for any club but Ipswich!! No. No pony signing for a club that does politics and makes your commercial brand value 80% lower, it doesn’t work!!!!!! It’s why 99.999999% of clubs don’t do it!!! It like clubs and businesses stone cold dead - only businesses where there’s a 90% fit va maybe do politics - that isn’t football, by definition football is inclusive, or should be. No.., they aren’t quiet.., they’re banging the phones to every politician in the UK trying to get others through the door.., to save the clubs entire future and their careers!!!! Tarawa they’re doing - and when they’ve finished the next phase of that Ashton self interested vanity project HE HAS TO BE SACKED No ifs or buts, his out of control ego and stunt clearly aimed and where he sees his next step - is shocking!!! Even the bit where Farage says he’s been told if we don’t go up there’s a managers vacancy!!!! Could only come from Ashton.., because Farage is a palace fan.., it’s shocking. So no, not silence, locked in a room in career saving mode, trying to lit his way out of this, where our media will parrot exactly what he says (sadly) But agents, coaches, players, managers, sponsors, supporters buying tickets and nerch…, NONE of them will forget. The implications are vast. This could end us. Deals not getting done. Tickets unsold. Merch not bought. People leaving, retention so much harder, recruitment impossible.., no player wants their commercial value reduced because the club plays party politics. It’s bonkers!!! This is the worst day in the clubs history. It’s sickening one man had this much control ‘to Mark love Nigel’ .., maybe Mark is the tea ladies nickname?? .., no I don’t think so either. Sickening lack of commercial awareness and professionalism, I’m shocked, but not 1% surprised. This is the Mark Ashton from Watford, and Wycombe, it’s who he really is.

End the club? Sorry, what? Its a massive shit stain, and a huge error in judgement for which there needs to be some accountability. It's certainly damaging to the the image and potentially very commercially damaging if sponsors or supporters push back in a meaningful way, but its not going to end the club ffs. No more than Sheffield United signing Ched Evans ended them.

I've said many many times before. These aren't the ramblings of a disgruntled Ipswich fan, there is something deeper here. Its the same with a couple on Facebook, in fairness this might be one of them This stems from somebody at the club (possibly Ashton) doing them personally wrong on a fairly large scale. This is a grudge, a personal thing - It has to be as its simply too deep rooted. Please be aware of this, anyone thinking of jumping aboard this personal bandwagon because of the events of the past few days.

| Given the continued radio silence... on 19:59 - Mar 25 with 606 views | HighgateBlue | If they had proper footballing knowledge they would have made a joke about the disparity between our squad in terms of left and right wingers. Memes are just that. It is unpleasant to be the butt of the joke, but these are jokes. Nigel Farage held up a shirt. That is what happened. It's awful to see and frankly worse than any of the memes! But the mere fact that other fans are joking about it does not say anything about the degree to which the club messed up. The club did, seemingly, mess up. It's particularly unfortunate given how long there is before the next round of games. But the club does not support Reform, and whether they get into power (heaven help us) will not be determined by Nigel Farage holding up a shirt, or the resulting memes that will be doing the rounds for a week or so. A sorry episode. But only one episode, and the series will, I am sure of it, improve. Maybe as a mea culpa/creative PR move, the club could invite politicians from all other parties to have the same photo opp... | | | |

Isn’t this the poster who was part of a consortium to buy the club from Evans, but Gamechangers beat him? Or something along those lines. Some of what Darkhorse has said yesterday and today must be potentially libellous. I hope Phil is being careful.
