| Ian McParland 15:33 - Mar 29 with 1395 views | DeepBlueSea | Looking down a chronological list of ITFC managers I landed on the above chap. I remember nothing of his 5 days in charge. The name doesn’t even ring a bell in any context. A free pint to anyone who can name our two games under him, and the score. Plz no cheating! | | | | |

| Ian McParland on 15:49 - Mar 29 with 1276 views | Meadowlark | I remember him being in charge. I actually thought he had our best manager's record in terms of percentages, but that might have been just after his first game! I remember the Arsenal game, but that's it. | | | |
| Ian McParland on 19:51 - Mar 29 with 1055 views | armchaircritic59 | I wonder how many know the name of ITFC's manager with the best win % of any that have been manager here, for at least a season? It isn't either of the Sirs, or Gb or KM. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

That Priskin goal. Not a goal to ever forget, especially as I went with an Arsenal fan that day.

Mick O'Brien. Led town to be Southern League Champions in 1936/37 with a win record of 64% in 39 games in charge, and no I wasn't a season ticket holder!

0-7, we were far too rubbish that day to get near their goal.

As was I, the Chelsea cup game a few years previous (2009?) was much better, we even went 1-0 up. I do love Stanford Bridge as a stadium. It’s lovely.

I think that's why I got confused and thought we had scored in the 0-7.
| Ian McParland on 20:28 - Mar 30 with 507 views | eireblue | So…..ummmm….was he the manager when someone remarked that Colin Healey made Cesc Fàbregas look like Colin Healey…..someone did remember to check….with Ian…..surely. | | | |

It took Frimmers mentioning the Arsenal leg for me to recall it, but yes I remember now. Second tier club and we played two cup matches against Premier League opposition. We won the Arsenal league cup semi-final first leg where Colin Healy made Cesc Fabregas look like Colin Healy (allegedly) and Fabregas accused us of playing rugby. We then got thrashed in the FA Cup one. I know it was a proper thrashing but can't recall the exact score.
