I had the same. The guidance on the website still states that ITFC staff would be onsite 10-12 so have emailed them asking for clarification if I arrive after 11. As I have a 300 mile round trip it’s a bit late for the goalposts to be moved. Assume Norfolk police have gotten involved |  | | |

Same as what I've just been told. Genius move by the coppers to make these announcements regarding collection times, less than 48 hours before game - when train bookings, etc, from supporters travelling by train were likely made weeks ago. I'm just surprised with myself for expecting anything other than incompetence and lack of intelligence from them. [Post edited 10 Apr 10:38]

Narwich fan told me Compleat Angler (Greene King) would be ok to get in without being asked to show a ticket, reckons most home fans will be in the spoons or other pubs. Website says they don’t usually open until 11 though. Called to ask if will be earlier tomorrow and no answer.

Turnstiles open 10:30.
Risk of collecting ticket later is that we then get stopped if there’s any build up of home fans at certain points along the route close to the ground and potentially miss kick off. Think I remember hearing that happened last time. | | | |

We arrived at the station at around 11.30. There was no problem picking up tickets and we had a leisurely and very quiet stroll to the ground, alas no pubs. All the Ipswich coaches were all parked up and empty by the time we passed them.
After the match we walked back the same way. The plod at the top of the station steps asked if we were Ipswich before letting us in. I suppose Norwich fans entered from the front of the station only?
Met a few Ipswich fans on the train who had done the Ipswich-Lowestoft- Norwich return route rather than getting a coach. | | | |
