I was surprised to see him start ahead of Neill but he was excellent.

He had a cracking game

Gets a lot of stick off some fans but he hasn't let us down this season.

Also I know Neil came on later, but is that 1st game this season where the two central midfielders who started the game, also ended it?
KM always seems to substitute one of the CM's but left both on today.

Love Jack Taylor, you know exactly what you're getting and when you're backs to the wall there's nobody better

Jack Taylor is quite often an unintentionally overlooked player for us.
I think he's a fantastic midfielder myself, John Wark once said the same in the fan zone

I would imagine if Nunez had not been such a plank then one of them would have gone off?

Great player to have in a local rivalry game. Didn't think he was at his best with the ball, but my word did he work his arse off. And in a game like today, sometimes you need a workhorse.

4 me been one of the top players this season ,a player who l think is very underrated and certainly one of the best buys the club has made in recent years .

Worked tremendously hard an impacted the game. Thought some of his weaknesses in possession were on display at times but he worked his nuts off. One sloppy pass first half he made up for with a ridiculously good tackle to get it back.

Been an excellent squad player an maybe can be next season but it's still and area we need to improve honestly if in the prem.

Oshea was MOTM. Can't believe there can be any argument. Leadership and defending was fantastic. So many header. Greaves was also fantastic

He’s been good pretty much all season, excellent at times.

Made a fantastic tackle on the edge of our box.

He’s got an engine on him .. he’s completely turned my view of him on its head this season… we’re very fortunate to have him.

I'm with you on this. I have been a critic in the last couple of years, and I don't think that criticism was unwarranted. Although, in the second half of this season, he has won me over. He has been exactly what we've needed in some key games.

I'm still nowhere near convinced he has what it takes to make the step up to the Premier League, but has become a vital cog in a top level Championship team. Which, I guess is what he was signed with the hope of becoming initially.

Ben Johnson, I think, potentially, could end up have a similar career with us. Signed with good pedigree, and potential. Seemingly, not quite living up to that initially, but after settling in moving on to that next level.

I’m not his biggest fan, but he was perfect for yesterday. He does everything well but nothing really excellently, a good all rounder.

That said his best tackle was because he gave it away!

I think Matusiwa having such a poor game put the onus on Taylor too. As we barely got out of second gear all game and just let Norwich play it into our hands. Which really suited Jack as I think it gave him space to work

Yes I agree he did give us lots of energy as he usually does . Maybe he thought he owed us a performance after his mistake last week when he came on with the job of putting himself about in midfield then was silly enough to lob the ball into the crowd get booked and have to play with care . Sure he will have learnt from it .

He did. Immediately after giving the ball away. Really worked his socks off to get back and timed it really well. Get it wrong and it was a dangerous place for a free kick and fans would have been on his back for it.

I have been very impressed with Taylor this season (not to the point that I think he is more than a very useful squad player, though). He got a lot of minutes in the Premier League last season and I think that has helped his progress too.

I am sure he will be a very useful squad player in the Premier League next season and it is important our midfield is a lot stronger than it was last season.
