Today will be a huge mental blow for Boro especially given their managers comments, and 3 points next week you’d have to think will put paid to their auto chances. It’s increasingly looking like the saints could be our biggest challenge and 9 points from 18 should be more than doable COYFB 🙌🏻

More like 10 given our GD is over 20 ahead of millwall

Not sure why Millwall are being written off, they remain our biggest threat with the easiest run in you could imagine.

I'd rather not be promoted on goal difference.

Not writing them off by any means, they’re still in the mud, just can’t see them winning all their games whereas I can the saints

I can't say I'd care to be honest. It's not like you get a points deduction the next season is it.

I just think they are clear favourites in every game. QPR and Stoke on the beach, Leicester terrible. Oxford looks the hardest but they'll win it last game of season at home.

We should prepare and expect them to take a maximum haul from that.

Agreed on Saints but we have the chance to stop them by getting a draw there

Maybe. But their form is patchy and it may be the season is finally catching up with them. Anyway 10 does it either way

I suspect 2 wins and a draw probably gets the job done. So yes. Yes we are.

Southampton will get 84 points if they win their 5 remaining matches. Millwall will be on 85 points if they win their remaining 4. As we have a considerable goal differance on Milwall we need to get to 85 points to finish second. 6 games to get 10 points.

For me, the 3 winnable games right now are Charlton, WBA & QPR. Portsmouth will fancy their chances after today's result. Middlesbrough are in terrible form, so we should go there pretty confident of getting something. If we win Tuesday, then I am 100% confident of automatic promotion.

A load of games against the teams battling the drop is NOT easy. Those are the teams that pull results out of the hat when it comes to the crunch - see Portsmouth and Oxford today, plus WBA drawing with Millwall last night

Can't see it. QPR and Stoke - both mid table and Stoke in particular horrendously out of form- 6 points
Leicester in the absolute doldrums and no fight - 3 points
Oxford at home on the final day - 3 points (the most difficult fixture here which says it all)

They're gonna win 4/4 I'm afraid, we should be prepared for them to do so. it shouldn't matter as long as Town don't bottle it from here anyway.
