| Look Norwich on 18:54 - Apr 13 with 2555 views | redrickstuhaart | There is being a bit biased, and there is completely failing in your publuc service local broadcaster remit. That crosses the line. And then takes a big dump on the line for fun afterwards before running away. | |

As the biggest public event in the area this weekend to not even acknowledge it happened is pretty (and petty) scandalous.

Apparently it was Luton Town v Stockport the bigger event.

| Look Norwich on 19:34 - Apr 13 with 2064 views | EC2_Blue | Pathetic absence of balance. You can complain to the BBC. Being pedantic, but in the spirit of fairness, I have. As follows: The East Anglian derby between the two principal football clubs in the Look East region - Norwich City (hoping to achieve a place in the Championship play-offs) and Ipswich Town (hoping for automatic promotion to the Premier League)- took place on Saturday 11 April 2026. The sports coverage in Look East on 13 April 2026 failed to acknowledge the match or its outcome or potential significance to both clubs. The programme's only football coverage related to a minor trophy win for Luton Town (Bedfordshire) in a second rate trophy and the rumoured takeover of another lower league club, Colchester United (Essex). Please would you explain whether this was oversight or deemed irrelevant for a regional news and sport magazine show? If the latter an explanation as to why. | | | |

If you genuinely think dozens of professional journalists working inside an institution with guidelines coming out their arse have conspired to not show highlights because we won then your brain is broken. Barely any will even be from the area, fewer still will care about football and absolutely none are risking their jobs, mortgages and careers over a petty football rivalry.

yeah, they've done it for years. My dad noticed it and mentioned it several times, and he was a West Ham fan so had no skin in the game.

I can't imagine it wouldn't have got a 5 - 10 minute report by Tom Williams should the reverse result have happened though [Post edited 14 Apr 8:21]

Exactly. Connor Bennett was outside the away end interviewing Town fans specifically for Look East. What was the point in that if they had jo intention of showing anything? Friday night's Look East was first about Luton playing against Stockport, then the only segment about the derby was regarding Eloise King who signed for Norwich Women from Ipswich Women.

You've clearly never watched About Norwivh. Or Look Norwich in your life then! It was only when I lived in Sheffield and saw how their licsl media covered, equitably Weds and Utd that i realised just how ridiculously biased the so called BBC media based in Norwich, is towards the " local" club.
