The East Anglian derby between the two principal football clubs in the Look East region - Norwich City (hoping to achieve a place in the Championship play-offs) and Ipswich Town (hoping for automatic promotion to the Premier League)- took place on Saturday 11 April 2026.
The sports coverage in Look East on 13 April 2026 failed to acknowledge the match or its outcome or potential significance to both clubs. The programme's only football coverage related to a minor trophy win for Luton Town (Bedfordshire) in a second rate trophy and the rumoured takeover of another lower league club, Colchester United (Essex).
Please would you explain whether this was oversight or deemed irrelevant for a regional news and sport magazine show? If the latter an explanation as to why. | | | |

It was only when I lived in Sheffield and saw how their licsl media covered, equitably Weds and Utd that i realised just how ridiculously biased the so called BBC media based in Norwich, is towards the " local" club. | |
