| Quick Glance at the Saints forum 09:07 - Apr 29 with 3479 views | hype313 | General consensus is they thought we were the better side, want us to go up as they don't want to face us in PO's, fancy their chances against the others (I tend to agree) They were waxing lyrical about Jack Clarke. | |

| Quick Glance at the Saints forum on 09:10 - Apr 29 with 3399 views | portmanking | Of course they wouldn't want to face us. We are their kryptonite in many ways. We press and run harder than them, stopping their flair players from having much influence. On top of that, we too have plenty of quality on the ball. Clarke is in a great moment, but it's so hard to know how to utilise him on Saturday. Jaden's impact as a sub is far less than Clarke. He really struggles to get to the pace of games unlike Clarke. | | | |
| Quick Glance at the Saints forum on 09:12 - Apr 29 with 3372 views | BseaBlue | With the exception of the mad twenty minutes after we scored (we seemed to lose our composure completely) I thought we dominated the game. We had the better chances in the first half and then bombarded them towards the end. The save by their keeper for Clarke's shot was ridiculous. You'd fancy that 9 times out of 10, that shot fires us to promotion! | | | |

Start them both and go for it! I don't think I'd particularly trust Nunez or Mehmeti in the 10 at the moment. Left field shout........Cajuste in the 10 on Saturday? Gives us more composure in midfield if Taylor is missing. [Post edited 29 Apr 9:16]

You'd have to be pretty damn dense not to appreciate the quality of both sides last night going at it and putting on a show.
| Quick Glance at the Saints forum on 09:18 - Apr 29 with 3288 views | Cafe_Newman | That last 10 minutes must have been torture for them. If they don't get through the playoffs, I wonder how many of them will feel whether that cup run was worth it | |

I'd feel exactly the same if the roles were reversed, while Boro won't be an easy semi for them its one I fancy them in, and then they would be favourites in a final against Millwall / Wrexham / Hull.

I think I'd play Clarke or Philogene in the 10 if they both play (Cajuste the alternative) purely because Wes has to start! Off the basis of last night, Azon again for me. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I think he'll stick with the same starting 11 as last night. Perhaps Taylor for Neill. Certainly wouldn't play Cajuste at 10 in such an important game. Last night was a bit of an outlier. 20 minutes in a game we could afford to lose against opponents who were desperate to win but out on their feet. He could certainly do a job off the bench though

And the odd mention of the ref being corrupt in our favour. This narrative from some people has gained some outrageous traction. Social media has caused people to lose any sense of independent thought.

Their fans must have known that winning last night was more likely to extend their torture as they would have known that they still would have required both us & Millwall to fail to win on Saturday.

With Wrexham away to Boro & Hull playing Norwich I fancy Derby to make the playoffs

Derby going up instead of Millwall, Boro, Saints, Hull and Wrexham would be hilarious.

Yes for me, Philogene no.10 and Clarke on the left, Burns on the right. Cajuste sub Philogene as 10

| Quick Glance at the Saints forum on 16:38 - Apr 30 with 653 views | Swansea_Blue | I think we got in their heads a little bit. They were more reserved and less willing to commit players forward than in other matches I’ve seen from them this season. It very much ebbed and flowed, but that last 10 mins of normal time was the most confident I’ve been for a long time that we had it in the bag. Sadly not quite to be, but we played well enough to score a couple of goals in that spell (story of our season!). | |
