I thought the interview was fine. I don't think anything can be read into it because nothing much that we didn't already know was said. It was very much a ‘well done on promotion’ interview. Saying we need to recruit differently hardly comes as a shock.
If McKenna goes sand i think he will, it’ll be with my thanks and best wishes. He’s been here a long time now and has to move on at some point. I suspect Ashton’s role within the club will change too.
What will be will be.

Yep, he has since then made a monumental tool of himself dragging KM along with him at the most critical phase of the season, but he's a number of the more suspect profiles on TWTD's hero, so we're meant to be less boring or something to that effect lol. Getting rid of Ashton will only improve our chances of keeping KMac longer, only the weirdos don't understand that.

What a well worded and articulate post. Well done
However, I fully appreciate that I probably don't understand it as I am a "weirdo"

I thought it was interesting that he is looking forward to some time off. In the past he has said things like I celebrate today and start thinking about the prem tomorrow. So that a change. If you can read something into it I'm not sure?
Gardening leave?

Well Martin O’Neill will be leaving Celtic soon, so that’ll crop up again. As will Palace, and potentially Newcastle depending on what happens with Eddie Howe.
Do feel more confident this time around that he won’t go though, hopefully, as others have pointed out that we’re far better equipped this time around and feels a point to prove before making a bigger step in future.
O'Neill not ruling out being at Celtic next season as per radio earlier, depends how the season ends though.

You’ll be watching? Just as soon as you’ve removed Infantino’s balls off your chin, amirite? 😃
I didn’t like FIFA in any of the 5 previous World Cup’s I watched either and I enjoyed them all. If people want to deprive themselves of what they enjoy that’s fine but do they have to constantly announce it and be so angry and down at every single thing. We’ve just got promoted and everyone’s still spoiling for a fight about politics on here. It’s all rather tiresome.
They, or any single person, not watching it won't make it good or not good. They were replying to the statement that it will be good, not if they should watch it.
I won't be watching it, I am not that interested in national football mainly, but also really hate FIFA and the current way they manage formal against the best interests of fans, affordability, cities, wider culture etc.

The "Ashton In" mob may play a role in us losing McKenna.
Well played lads.
That's an interesting take given that it's totally or was totally in the hands of the owners who are exceedingly unlikely to be swayed by a few hundred or even a few thousand peoples opinions, on a non footballing topic. If he stays and from the words he said in an interview over on the site yesterday he will, as the owners have apparently told him " tell us what you need ". Whatever happens, it's in the hands of the owners, not one single supporter, or thousands. It most certainly wouldn't be the reason for KM leaving either. He's a very decent and sensible guy and would simply just weigh up any options that may be available and chose the one he thinks is best for his future and his family. I don't think anyone sensible would argue with that.

A great politicians answer to the first question on McKenna but then what can he say? Nobody knows what the future holds so can’t sway one way or the other yet.
If a Ajax came along looking to take a punt, or even a Chelsea, or Spurs, McKenna will consider it. That's football. He can't rule that out. I actually think McKenna's third promotion has gone a bit under the radar so I am pretty relaxed he will still be here.

On what grounds do you trust/ believe what he says what the owners have told him?
