Some of the pictures have been flipped to get everyone facing the right way which means numbers on shirts etc are wrong. See Burgess and Broadhead picture 1 isn't football at all, and 2 just isn't very good to my eye

All the others are very much how they appeared at the time of their management stint. Robson, looks at least 20 years old than he was when he managed Town.

That’s a good shout, have KM and then move on. She’s obviously incredibly talented but those covers are a little bland.

I do quite like 1, as it’s the main walk to town from the train station and it’s showcasing all the big Ipswich buildings, most of which you will see for real further up.

Player and manager wise should only be legends on there and there are some players on No 3 that are nowhere near legends. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I personally prefer the pencil illustration effect. It's a bit different - the other two are a bit obvious/run-of-the-mill for me. It's also more dynamic/conveys motion in that style.

These I guess are the hoardings that have been up since the 80’s (at least) then around the back near alderman park and the bus depot ? I’d leave them blue .. the designs are awful and if permanent in some cases could be very out of date very quickly re. Some footy people and their iconic status permanently etched there. If they have to do this and culturally could look very old fashioned quickly .. if anything keep it timeless.. probably a mix of 1’s images with 3’s style .

No it’s the pink hoardings along Princes Street. The old blue ones are updated each year with new images, some good ones on there the last couple of years, and each squad member had their own image on each one a few years back.

| I never knew there was a competition to design a mural outside the ground on 19:09 - May 14 with 477 views | FBI | Personally speaking, I can't say I'm especially keen on any of them. The first one looks AI-generated - although I realise it isn't, of course. Just not very interesting and reminds me of those images they use when showing artist's impressions of new shopping centres. The second one is too cartoony for my liking but the best of the three to my eyes. The third looks to me like scribblings in a school exercise book and absolutely the last thing I'd choose. But that's the beauty of art: it's entirely subjective and others will completely disagree with me. Which is fine :-) If some people see it and it makes them smile, it's all good. Certainly a long way from a giant, badly-daubed "Norich (sic)" on a corrugated steel fence - which is showing my age... | |

Ahhh .. cheers for that .. in that case even more so I stand by my own choice of design 1 with style of 3 … if it’s permanent … a very basic and silly example Leif being on there imagine if he signed for Norwich.

What was the fun/bantz thing we had at the Ipswich railway station a while back ? Was it a player that had long gone ?

Cor, that would look good with a fresco of Rommel’s 7th Panzer division with Ashton in the driver’s seat of the lead tank coffee mug in hand, just about to run over the values of our club

Exactly. 3 looks great but imagine it on a dull rainy day or evening in January. It will just fade into the background, whereas 2 will jump out of the gloom and smack you in the eyes.
