Sure, but fundamentally the long winded “stop posting about this” posts when there’s no obligation to join in is such a weird phenomenon on a message board where you have so much functionality to mute threads, especially if you can’t just scroll post them.

Likewise, he’s clearly missed the point that Ashton doesn’t want or deserve forgiveness which is the crux of the argument.

You can see on here those who are so not bothered they are on every thread after disrespecting our war dead on VE day are the biggest problem.

Stop what you are doing, our master Mullet has spoken.

Apparently, Ashton doesn't want or deserve forgiveness (conclusion drawn by Mullet but presented as fact).

And.... anyone who disagrees apparently are disrespecting our war dead. (Again conclusion drawn by Mullet presented as fact)

What a guy, we are so lucky to have him police our thoughts.

Whichever side of the fence you sit on, yet another divisive post. You know for a fact the usual responders will respond!

Antagonism is Something I thought Phil has asked to cut out.

Even for pre/post season, this is a really boring message forum.

That's fair. TBH my little tirade was more because I'm procrastinating to avoid having to do some tedious chores

Ashton out

Getting really tired of this.

On balanceI found the reform stuff disgusting. But where has forgiveness and allowing people to put things right in society gone FFS. It wasn't illegal it was just wrong.

BUT I'm so tired of you and others clogging the board (on both sides of it) and doing this self righteous agenda and quite frankly pushing your politics. I'm 1000% anti reform. They are disgusting. But I and others come to this board for football talk and about our team and it's frankly a release from all this nonsense that's happening in politics (and please don't patronise us saying it's nothing to do with politics).

Can we please drop it now and let people enjoy the forum.

You know very well the only thing that comes from your posts is starting infighting and an argument. You know this. You cant honestly think this behaviour brings people to your side? It does the opposite and it's divisive.

Imagine getting on a plane and thinking - just before I take off I better just get one more devisive message out in a deliberately inflammatory way. It's frankly pathetic. Sorry.

Phil should give them their own little section, they can post the two words to each other, up arrow it and confirm to themselves how they’re incredible upstanding citizens making a huge difference. Now TWTD knows their viewpoint on the matter (again) and with the strength of statement and message to the club, it’s obviously really ramping up the pressure.

Alternatively, could just block and completely ignore them, it’s not like the majority offer or even talk about anything actually football related anyway.

Poll: Ok gut feeling then, promotion?

It's a fair point. I generally prefer to try not to block except where people become unbearable. Will probably reach that point. Just very low levels of emotional intelligence on display. It's a race to wear some sort of perverse badge of honour.

I have to say, for many years I used to take a stoic approach of, I won't block anyone as I didn't agree with censorship and I think we should all be exposed to a wide variety of opinions, regardless of if we agree with them or not-
but retrospectively, it was absolutely was the wrong tact to take on here- ever since blocking people willy nilly, it makes the board much more readable and enjoyable.

also, when you unblock someone to have a peep at what they've said on a particular topic/read a particular thread it appears to really ruffle their feathers, which is amusing if you're a churlish w@nker, like me.

….that say they ignore posters but then forget and reply to them.

Then when it gets pointed out they pretend they did it on purpose just to wind them up.

Proper weirdos them.
