| Phil Foden on 09:25 - May 22 with 1916 views | Simonds92 | He struggles to make an impact in a team which dominates the ball and play their football in the opposition half. I know this is a ridiculous link and no chance it would happen, but hypothetically, the Premier League player of the year a couple of years ago is desperate to link up with McKenna now Peps gone. Does he fit in our team and the kind of games we're going to have to play in, having less of the ball, potentially being a bit more direct and being built on a solid defensive foundation? | | | |

I’m looking at how Grealish had turned his career around since joining Everton. Leaving City has been very positive for him.

I doubt he is earning more than Kalvin Phillips.

He's on 225k a week - a little over double Phillips's 105k per week, and there isn't the slightest chance they'd loan him to another PL team

That surprises me as Phillips was a big money signing. Although Phillips is on £150k a week, not £105K.

| Phil Foden on 13:30 - May 22 with 1241 views | Jon_456 | Don’t even know where to begin with this. Let’s just correct the first statement where he’s actually started 60% of their premier league games and contributed 12 G/As. Then the wages at over £200k a week. Even if he was available, there would likely be 19 other PL teams after him as well as big European clubs. We might be about 15th on that list. So to answer the question, unless we want to waste Citys and our own time then no, it’s not worth a loan bid. Christ. Long summer ahead on here.. | | | |

Agree with all the above and the fact that Man City probably don't want to get rid of him, and if they did, it certainly would be for a fee and not on a loan. As someone above said, i'm not sure if these "suggestions" are real anymore.....Its got to be a wind up!

I assumed GB was trolling until he tried to defend a comparison with Kalvin Phillips.

Are you actually made. He would be one of the best players we have ever had at our club (he'd be a player that would have played in the Bobby Robson era and anyone saying otherwise is mad). He's and incredible playing who has played in one of the best sides ever under pep. He's had a few months off form and we have to hear "would be make and impact in our team. Seriously.

Im not arguing against most of that. My point is more, if he'd have just spent the last season at Burnley for example, would he be able to showcase his talent and make a significant impact, or would he be playing in a team which in no way enables him to play his game. Obviously this is all hypothetical nonsense and he's too good for us.
