I would rather not have to go to West Ham to watch a football match ever again. It's a nightmare to get in, A nightmare to get out and it a horrible place to watch football. Give me an away day at the Spurs Stadium any day. I do agree that Spurs being relegated would be funny, though.

West Ham are likely to be worse than spurs next season that's why. We need as many teams who will bet down there as possible.

Yeah, but West Ham are a horrible club with oafish supporters. Would love to see them relegated.

Because West Ham have been circling the drain longer than spuds. They'll get flushed sooner rather than later. Spurs flirting with relegation is less likely to be happening time after time. We have a slightly better chance of surviving next season if spuds go tomorrow. Much like we have a slightly better chance with hull winning promotion over Middlesbrough.

Because they want us to have the best possible chance of staying up.

Mental year for the parachute clubs, one relegated, one kicked out, one promoted. Doubled both teams that got promoted with us (not that it will really count for anything next year) but it’s nice to go up with teams that aren’t like a strong Leeds side or something. We’ll get heavily tipped for relegation still next season but that will be lazy assumptions based on two years ago. I’m looking forward to see who we get in and think we can surprise a good few, here’s hoping. [Post edited 23 May 20:23]

Well, you started by asking why everyone wants them to be relegated... Then answered your own question at the end....because it would be funny. Extremely funny. Maybe Spurs would be a better away day for some, maybe we would even take points off Spurs again, whereas we didn't off WH, but it would still be very, very funny.

Agree. I loathe everything about West Ham. They can and will go. Spurs? Had plenty of good away days back in the day and I’ve got no real problem with them. They have a rather irritating sense of entitlement about them, but they’re not the only club with supporters like that. Dead funny situation though. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I think it's extremely funny whoever of them go down.

In our 01-02 relegation season we won at Spurs. Think it might have been our first win of the season? Not sure but think we beat them at home too

I'd prioritise a better chance of staying up, over worrying about one specific away game personally. Spurs to get relegated would be the best option IMO. [Post edited 24 May 15:15]
