Why should TNT hold this power? UEFA are letting fans down again by giving TNT a contract which allows them to charge for the final. The government should add it to the list of games which must be shown for free, along with the World Cup, England matches and FA Cup final.

It’s great Starmer is doing that, but what a shambles football is in. No wonder kids aren’t into it when they don’t have the access to it as they grow up. We’ve seen it with so many sports like boxing etc once it goes off mainstream it’s hard to grow it in the next generation.

The club and player organisations EFC and FIFPRO could stand up to UEFA for the fans but wouldn't as the tv money benefits them and UEFA will say clubs and players are the sport. Not fans. | |

TV companies have paid for Champions' League rights for years, but this is the first time the final is not free to watch.
Most TV money goes on ever higher player wages, so we don't 'enjoy' it as such at Premier League level as other clubs have the same or more. Yes, it is to our advantage against Championship clubs of course. | | | |

You can't easily add to the list of free to air sports at all
It needs to go to the governing bodies if those sports for a start, which I can't imagine UEFA are going to be too happy about. It would considerably lower the value of any future contracts as well.
