Agree in general, but rumour mill articles linking players to more than half a dozen clubs are usually coming out of the agent rather than the clubs and are more of an indicator of what the player/agent are targeting rather than any concrete interest. [Post edited 24 May 22:09]

Yes maybe a few sales like Muric and Szmodics which might bring in 15 million. Add that to £110 -£130 million and you have a figure between £125 and £145 million.
Personally I'd buy two at up to £35 million and three at £15-£20 million and three loans making a total of eight players.
That would be a GK, a CB, cover for or 1st choice right FB, a Centre midfielder, a number 9 and 10, a right winger and bring back Azon as third choice number 9. | | | |

I don’t think the Championship is much of a hunting ground this summer, Hackney aside. I’d take Azeez at the right price and part of me does think we’ll want him but calling Millwall’s bluff and happy to wait. Otherwise I don’t see a lot who can make us better. Louza has been mentioned but I wouldn’t sign him.
Overseas and a few from the relegated PL clubs will be the way to go I think. Going to be interesting to see who we get. |  | | |
