Very difficult to compare the two as far as I'm concerned. The one obvious difference is that NP has performed very well for a fair while at PL level. Not saying that CW couldn't, not proven there, but is 4 years younger than NP. That's one I'd leave for the recruitment guys to judge. |  | | |

9 years as a Premier League regular suggests he's a cut above anyone we currently have.
Really decent shot stopper, but pretty poor with the ball at his feet, if that's the direction we're looking to go next season, he's not a natural. If we're going for security and no nonsense defending, he's probably a decent shout. |  | | |

You have to be good with the ball at your feet as a keeper now, it's a must even more so at the top level, hence he won't be coming here.. |  | | |

We havent played that way since muric was swapped for palmer.
This season too we were more pragmatic. The ball came from defence but there was a lot less keeper to dm ball play it was safe to oshea who then became the morsy type ball player hence osheas ball stats being so high.
We rarely played the risky one two with the keeper this season that got us out of trounle and often lead to goals in the promotiom season but killed us in the prem season.
Muric isnt that bad with his feet. His whole career since his city days were built aroumd his ability as a keeper with the ball. However two things.. one was that he dud his calf and was still playing..but two he had poor players infront of him who were not quick enough to turn other prem players or read movements of them so often simple keeper to cm balls were lost by the midfield made muric look stupid etc.
Theres a reasom we spent what we did on him and why someone is about to pay for his services too. He just wasnt imo suited to a newly promoted side. | |
