The 3 fixtures you want at home, opening day/boxing day/last day/ we have ALL at home. That is a 1 in 8 chance. In between we have to play every team and if there was ever a slightly better order you'd wnt the middle teams in the run in which we have. Our start didn’t relegate us last time around. We were hovering around 14th/15th for quite a while. The losses to Everton and Palace were big body blows as they were in trouble and then Wolves put a decent run together.
We stunk the place out in the New year. After the Chelsea and Fulham games we were awful losing to the likes of Southampton. Dropping all three points to ten man United. Getting battered by Liverpool and City then losing at home to Wolves. |  |

I’d take the hard start to have winnable games like that in the run-in. |
Of course we could be easily relegated by then though, would be great to somehow get a win first day. Needs to be a lot earlier than November this time. Either way there isn’t much of an ideal start in this league as they’re all tough. We will be a complete wildcard for our opposition anyway with a new looking team (hopefully) and new manager. |  |
