There would have been excitement around that game as it was seen as the start of the GameChanger era and now Paul Cook had bombed out the losers who had been dragging us down over the past two or three seasons, he'd surely lead us to glory with an opening day crushing of the Shrimps setting the tone....

As for that Morecambe game, I've always been excited about the start of any season. To be fair, there was a decent size crowd for League One as well - Attendance: 21,037. |  |
