I feel like I'm watching a late 90s Aldridge Tranmere team.

Get used to it. Town under O'Neil will probably play like Ghana.

I admire any neutral watching this. That's commitment.

Why the hell are we seeing interviews form the assistant coach at HT? He should be in the dressing room. May have contributions, thoughts, may need to hear what is said. Ridiculous woke nonsense!

I wonder what the tactical change will be in the coming years to combat this, as it does feel now with the increasing athleticism of players that even with a large gulf in quality of the teams, this super low block is very effective. It really is terrible to watch as well.

Maybe the only antidote is get rid of offside or maybe only in the penalty area and open the full width and length for good teams to play in?

You have to take chances when they come up in games like this. Kane had one golden chance and blasted it over the bar

People's threshold for enjoyment of football seems very low these days.
I watched a game of chess with one team defending ever more solidly as time went on - yet countered rapidly when the chance arose. The other tried every thing they had to try and pick the lock and didn't take the chances that were created.

Sure, an England win would have made it better but as a game of football.
It was physical, attack v defence and personally, I enjoyed it.

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

Needs competent wingers to run at their men and gets constant balls into the box. Then change it up by having someone like Rogers run at them from the centre (which to be fair, he did when he came on).

It didn't help that our starting wingers were awful last night.
