Awash with celebratory Scots and Welsh.

One of which went out at the group stage, and the other didn’t qualify at all.

Well many have to take any tiny crumb of comfort they can possibly latch onto. Let them have it, they might even make a loaf between them!

I may be an outlier but I celebrate and encourage the other “home” nations. I am as English as it gets but would far prefer Wales, Scotland and N Ireland do well than other countries. I wish this sentiment was farspread but unfortunately our predecessors were c-units.

To be fair, if we were in the Jewson Leage and Norwich in the Champions Legue, I would still laugh at their misfortunes.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

I don't have any particular problems with our near neighbours, but see little point in celebrating because we've achieved something non of them will ever do in their existence. Personally apart from England who decided not to come out for much of the second half this evening, the only other side I really enjoy watching is Spain, they play the sort of football I want to watch and would greatly encourage. Not an Argentina fan by a long chalk, but my god I admire their tenacity and simply never ever give up attitude.

I have no problem with them celebrating. We are rivals. Ok.... rivals in a Col U kind of way where we are not really bothered about what they do but still rivals.

You wouldn't catch me cheering on Norwich in an FA Cup or Play-Off final.

Their obsessive focus on England tends to distract them from analysing the dismal failings of their own FAs and domestic games, which is why they never get anywhere or achieve anything.

Scotland are absolutely our rivals.

Wales are our rivals in the sense that Framingham Town are Ipswich's rivals.

Why the surprise, thats football rivalry?

Norwich are our 'nearest and dearest', and look how we enjoy their failures. I don't get what the fuss is about, we all do it.

It’s not about the football

I'd quite like us to go into the world cup as GB to be honest, it's so good with the British & IrishLions in rugby and it would bring the whole country together. Not sure the Scots and Welsh would go for it though....
