Ogbene could also fit the bill although I think his days are numbered. My concern with all 3 (perhaps slightly less so with BJ) is how they’d cope with the defensive side of the role, because I think it will end up being a 5 more of the time than a 3 | |

It’s certainly possible but feels strange given the second half of the season that hes just had at CB. I suppose if he’s on the right of a 3 there’ll be times when he slides out there anyway | |

I'm convinced we'll play a 3-4-3 this season. O'Neill has previous for it, and our recruitment points towards it too. Expecting something like this:
Scherpen
O'Shea, Diop (?), Alexsandro (?)
Khalaili (?), Matusiwa, Morita (?), Davis
Fatawu, Emersonn, Clarke
I also think we could end up replacing Matusiwa in the starting line-up, should the right player come available. He was good in the Championship, but wonder if his technical ability may be a little limited for the Premier League. |  |
