I think we've all had quite enough of experts.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

There'll be someone who's dOne ThEir oWN rEseArch along in a minute to tell us all why this is the case. They'll use terms like 'MSM' and 'big pharma' - is there any chance we can get a vaccination so the rest of us don't have to be subject to their nonsense?

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.
Poll: Which recent triallist should we have signed?

You know what happens to Big Pharma if you don't vaccinate or use sun cream? It becomes Bigger Pharma.

Just wait for the BBC to be labelled 'legacy media' and for calls for it to be defunded, as people now get their 'news' from Facebook, Tiktok and X for 'free'. What could possibly go wrong?

I wonder if those expressing concern are US based? The USA has different standards -

It took two seconds on google to identify that the article you have linked, is on a website well known for fear mongering, pseudo science and activism, and is not remotely in line with scientific consensus.

Poll: Will the US Mid terms get cancelled or "postponed"?

One of Spain's World Cup-winning squad has been pushing this claim online for years. Pretty wild really

I know. Nevertheless the fact remains that they are read in the USA, that standards are different there, and the OP + article doesn’t say where the claims he refers to are coming from.

Having had skin cancer, with the physical and mental scars to prove it….
USE SUNSCREEN! If you want a tan then there’s lots of SPF 50 with tanning agent.

On a side note, year after I dealt with it all, I was travelling with a new work colleague who told me in all seriousness that cancer treatment is a fallacy, and it can be cured with positive thinking. Never have I had so much self-control.

I work with one… anti-vax, government are monitoring everything you do and put trackers in all the medication etc. Yet he vapes like a chimney, so I guess the government aren’t putting trackers in those…

Must admit I didn't think to check till just after posting, but let it stand because I thought it might contribute some understanding as to where the claims might be originating from and why.

They should produce a vaccination that automatically protects you from Idiots :) I reckon people would pay good money for that!

Education seems to be the best defence we have against idiocy. It doesn’t always work though (e.g. Boris Johnson) so there’s definitely a gap in the market. Phil should get Gav to work on it as a sideline. There may be a substance in hobnobs that attacks the idiot virus

Haha yes, indeed it doesn't. It would be one hell of a sideline if it really worked.

Simple stuff. Those who use sunscreen a lot spend more time than average laying in the sun. It's the laying in the sun that increases the skin cancer risk, not the use of sunscreen. It's easy to find a statistical link, but that doesn't mean there is a cause & effect.

This weird bloke I see out walking my dog told me this the other day, like it was the most logical thing in the world. I didn't even try to counter what he was saying. 25 years of daily cannabis intake coupled with social media really isn't a good combination.

I for one, will not be going into a swimming pool until Nicholas cage stops making films.

Yep, such a weird world we live in now. Not only do people not believe in facts, they actually believe the opposite!
