Been a bit unlucky with sickness, had a sore throat just before the first preseason game, then COVID before the next and astonishingly caught malaria before the game last night
Total supposition, but reckon his team are working on finding him a club, Ipswich will be well aware, but obviously want best price for a player they don't need to sell, but, if they did, would bolster the spending position significantly.
We have Maeda, Clarke and Mehmeti all who can play the same position as Philogene, so if there's a position we can afford to sell one of those (not Maeda obviously) then I suspect the club would be thinking it a sensible place to start.
He fancies himself playing for a club in the Europa League or Champions League, and has appointed a super agent to engineer that for himself.
Trouble is, that needs to be a two way street, and those clubs have to want you. So far they don't...
Or, he’s got exactly the same agent he had since before he signed for us, who’s moved to a firm whose gobshitery matches his own, and nothing’s actually changed with Jaden apart from an injury but because he’s not constantly in our face bellowing about how much he loves Town people have drawn their own conclusions that he wants out. One of the two.

Just got word that he's been letting some Genoese merchants stay at his house, apparently they have to recover from some mysterious illness after conducting trade in the black sea, wonder what it is

Exactly this he always came across as a quiet unassuming fella who may have been badly advised by greedy agents, he seems to live and breathe football and keeps himself to himself which in some peoples eyes means he doesn't fit in, isnt interested etc etc. Whether he stays or goes i wish him well a likeable young man who needs a good sunday roast!!!

Jaden had a good season in the Championship, he has to prove himself now in the Premiership before Europe comes knocking. Tyrone Simpson has just gone to Port Vale he also thought his agent could progress his career. Jaden's goals were good but consistency is the key. No one wants to buy an injured player.
Curious to know where his agent wants him to go. Avoid more PL exposure and find good money in an easier league perhaps. I don't remember competition for his signature on leaving Villa and I don't think he's raised his reputation really since; he had a great Championship season in 23/24 too. Succeeding at this level is the unknown.
Fanatik reported that Beşiktaş manager Vincenzo Italiano has approved the transfer of Jaden Philogene after evaluations. Agents recommended the Ipswich Town player to the club. Beşiktaş plans to initiate official contact with Ipswich Town for Philogene in the upcoming days.

Or both of the two? Jayden seems like someone fixated on his football and not interested in the publicity and noise. I’m sure he’s ambitious but he doesn’t strike me as someone who’s create a situation that puts him and the club in a difficult position. His agent on the other hand…
It’s very possible the agent drove the change to another agency and is the one unsettling him. Meanwhile Jayden could be injured or there could be an issue behind the scenes that’s meaning we’re choosing not to play him. We’ll never know of course.

💯 all this hate against a young man who clearly loves football doesn't sit well with me

Who is hating him? People are saying he may not be as good as he thinks he is and if someone had to leave they are OK with it being Jaden as we have cover in that position .He also may not be PL standard despite more experience. I don't think that is hate.
I think any ill feeling is more towards the situation his agent is driving and Jaden could stop that if he wanted to, but suspect he has asked his agent to get him a move away from Ipswich for whatever reason. We have seen this 12 months ago as fans with one of our better players so we have the scars as it is not ideal preparation for a touch PL season ahead.

Haven’t seen any hate, I’m confused by it tbh thought he was in the right place to try and crack the prem, not sure where he will end up as I can’t see too many of the big clubs coming in
If he wants out, as the media have suggested, then he's been badly advised. Hutchinson did it after we'd been relegated and we were desperate for the cash his sale would bring. Right now, we can let a £25-30m asset depreciate in the U21s, and it's not too painful bc we've just pocketed £200m. Can let him flush his career down the toilet if he really wants. He won't just miss-out on precious Premier League experience, he's also saying to potential suiters: I've got an attitude problem, and will cause club discord. Dumb. Let's hope it's mainly social media blather.
