Mukiele and Alderete are the starters I think but both didn’t have a pre season with some knocks, the latter came on and gave it straight to Lukic.
Ballard and O’Nian for sure played last year as well though.
Diop was a little careless yesterday at times and gave away the free kick but in very happy with that signing. Not 100% sold on DOS as a right back for a season. | |

Be interesting to where they are the International break, some tough games for them before and a bit of pressure to get a result against Fulham now.

They only let in 48 goals, the 4th best in the division, but only scored 42, the 4th worst. [Post edited 23 Aug 19:34]

I think if they lose Xhaka they could have a tough season, I know he has committed to them but Alonso obviously wants him at Chelsea and a lot can happen in the last week of the window. He isn't the quickest but in every other way he is a champions league quality player and just runs everything for them, he is constantly directing everyone around him where to be and what to do. |  | | |

I think thst may relate to the 2nd half of the season. There was something on BBC a couple of months ago when they said Sunderland had one of the worst goals conceded records in the 2nd half of last season. Which was the opposite of the 1st half of the season where they were towards the top of the table for goals not conceded. | | | |
