Nethanyayoo knew Otober 7th was coming. 19:21 - Sep 8 with 2013 viewsBanksterDebtSlave

It's looking increasingly obvious that The Yahoo wanted an excuse for a prolonged conflict to take the heat off himself and get to where we are now....

Benjamin Netanyahu was personally alerted by the president of the United Arab Emirates that Hamas was planning a large-scale offensive against Israel a week before its 7 October 2023 attack, but did not act on the warning, according to a book by Haaretz reporters.

A week and a half before 7 October, the reporters say, bin Zayed called Netanyahu from the presidential palace in Abu Dhabi and, in a 45-minute call, warned that Sinwar was planning a major operation which the Emirati leader was concerned could destabilise the region.
To bin Zayed’s surprise, Netanyahu reacted calmly to the news, the report said.

Gadi Eisenkot, a former military commander who has emerged as Netanyahu’s main rival in the October elections, accused the long-serving prime minister of evading responsibility for security lapses and resorting to “pathetic” excuses, such as saying he was not woken up soon enough on the morning of the attack.
“Netanyahu received dozens of warnings for 7 October and ignored them all. He is unfit,” Eisenkot wrote on X.
Naftali Bennett, a former prime minister also running in the elections, said Netanyahu “bears personal and direct responsibility” for the deaths on 7 October, the deadliest attack in Israeli history. “Netanyahu cannot continue to serve in his position for even one more minute,” Bennett said.

'In the months leading up to the 7 October attacks by Hamas, they did begin to see things: practice raids, mock hostage-taking, and farmers behaving strangely on the other side of the fence.
Noa, not her real name, says they would pass information about what they were seeing to intelligence and higher-ranking officers, but were powerless to do more. "We were just the eyes," she says.
It was clear to some of these women that Hamas was planning something big - that there was, in Noa's words, a "balloon that was going to burst".

You can't say that.

Accusing an Israeli politician of having conspired to do something, despite evidence, is anti-semitic, or something like that.

At least, that's what I got told when I made the same suggestions previously.

Not a prophet, or a stone-age man; just a mortal with potential of a superman.

Water off a ducks back! They have made that label meaningless now by throwing it around too liberally.

Ooooh, common ground.

Not on antisemitism, but your point about labels becoming meaningless when they're thrown around too liberally... see 'racist' and 'fascist' on this board.

Well, there is an actual moral high ground in not being a racist or a fascist, or in not defending racists and fascists. The day we stop standing up to fascists and racists will be a dark day.

It’s not about uppies when you stand up to people who demonise foreigners and people based on their race or ethnicity. Uppies can go to f***, it’s more about not being a c***. (‘Scuse language Phil )

I can assure you- people using those terms on here are (in the vast majority of instances) not doing so to score points. They are doing so because they have genuine and reasonable fear about the way in which things are moving, and they think its important to keep calling it out and calling it what it is.

Indeed. And the use of those words on this board is in that “real” category. These thugs we’ve seen on our streets blockading the Port of Dover on Saturday and then some of the same characters turning up on the Hampshire coast getting in the way of the RNLI, blockading roads again and attacking the police are in the same “real” category. It’s got to be called out.

I think there were claims around that time that both the Egyptians and US had warned of Hamas mobilising (can’t recall where it was claimed but somewhere reputable like Reuters).

Doesn’t mean the rape, murder and other dehumanising acts carried out by Hamas on that day are any less horrific. But if true does mean Netanyahu has even MORE blood on his hands.

Edit - here is one such claim from 2023:

Surely stuff like this from the Chief Rabbi does far more harm to British Jews than the recently-announced sanctions:

In one single Tweet he manages to completely conflate British Judaism with the State of Israel. If you were to read his comments uncritically, and without wider context/knowledge, you'd be excused for thinking that British Judaism as a whole supports the State of Israel and its genocidal endeavours.

It doesn't, in any way shape or form, justify any violence, hatred, or actual anti-semitism arising from Burnham's announcement but, to my mind, Mirvis simply stirs the pot further.

Ridiculous isn't it, I mean why should he be concerned by issues surrounding the Israeli state at all....or something!!

Given the level of Israeli surveillance in Gaza, it doesn't feel controversial to suggest that the suggestion they had no idea what was about to happen always felt like a massive stretch.
