That's not true though.
It was claimed to have been spotted in a social media timelines which the user said was incredibly unlikely. Some of that information was also never posted on the forum as was confirmed by the user.
Glad to see the pattern is the same as always. Get the thread pulled then start the process of rewriting the narrative to protect the actual offender whilst redirecting blame at other posters.

The simple solution is for posters not to get personal or abusive.
In the past, I think that Phil has filleted threads so that threads are still up but with certain posts taken out but this is probably a real inconvenience.
The trouble with padlocking threads is that some posts could simply be up for people to see and then reply to them by starting a new thread, which in turn fuels more threads etc etc. |

It's because of the sort of misinformation you're referencing that I wish the thread had remained up (and locked as mentioned by others) but I totally respect Phil's choice and understand he has his reasons.
Anyone who knows anything about how the algorithms of Tiktok and Instagram work will know it was not an organic appearance on a feed.
Neither of the culprits were following on tiktok or instagram and neither had never engaged with any of my prior work.
I had not posted any work in over a week, as such, my reach for non-followers had dropped significantly, to the point where really, only people following me would be seeing my content.
Yet we're supposed to believe that serendipitously, directly after taking a dislike to my comments regarding Ed Sheeran, it just so happens that my content, posted over a week ago, on a topic that is no longer trending, came across their social media feed?
More to the point, we're supposed to believe that around the same time, *another* poster, totally independent of this, saw the *same* content and started asking the *same* rhetorical question, about the *same* issue, on the *same* day, at approximately the *same* time and upvoting one another in the process? OKAYYYYY LADS.
I'm sure some will make all the excuses they want.
I'm not particularly bothered at two old boys peering over at my work, but as was addressed in the thread by others and subsequently by Phil, the behaviour is weird at best and even if you took the laughable explanation at face value, it still shows a distinct lack of awareness as to what is and isn't acceptable and say's a lot about the two characters involved.
It wasn't shared anywhere on here that I'd done work for Disney, yet somehow Glassers and the other poster (who's name escapes me, so I keep avoiding it, for fear of using the wrong name and incriminating an innocent) both knew, and both decided to post about it simultaneously in a weak attempt to undermine my integrity. What-a-total-co-inky-dink.

That is the trouble with having to endure the international program . Three weeks now of tedious games when we know the usual suspects will get through. With the odd little country to allow commentators and pundits to say " How wonderful it is to see them here" and the groups largely consists of teams the powers that be want to see in the final (Trump included) So you end up with two big teams, one lesser team and a minnow.

I'd get rid of the general section. Because away from the people who post on here there seems a rather dull view of TWTD whenever I've mentioned it in conversation pre/post games.

Whilst it can end up like that thread the fact that this isn't an echo chamber is a good thing I think. Everywhere else people might go on the internet for such conversations will just end up with everyone agreeing with each other.
