Could see MW being a nice fit for ITFC and ME, might be wrong but not spent large sums of money and likes to play the game on the floor. Knows garner and Waghorn from rangers days also

My three right now to replace mick would be (in this order): 1) Gareth Ainsworth 2) Tony Mowbray 3) Mark Warburton As for the OP.. Monk is a terrible manager

You strike me as someone who doesn't go to games. Most home games this season have been entertaining, sure there's been the odd poor one but you can't have it all. Personally if Mick is going I'd rather we don't get someone who plays football that is at least as dull, Monk does not get his teams playing scintillating football.

And you don't strike me as a person who was a Swansea...leeds and Boro season ticket holder....so how on earth would you know. Who would you like to see here then?

How perceptive of you that I don't hold a season ticket for the three clubs that have sacked Monk in the last 2 years whilst also holding a season ticket at ITFC. The board has been crying out for someone with that kind of intellect for a long time.

Get Monk in now on 09:44 - Jan 1 with 6888 views | No9 | What is required at ITFC is a manager who can see talent in th acedemy & use it to best advantage. Mark Warburton got the sack at Forest for doing just that. The conflicting message from MM over the past 3 or so seasons about having the best squad in the division and needing 'shedloads' of money aren't compatible. The root cause is the advice Mr Evans is getting; if his MD at PR insists MM isn't going anywhere - because the losses are sustainable ? and past team management has not been seen as competent then the decison becomes one of Risk V Cost Only Raffa has made a profit form sales, most others have seen significant cash outflows - MM isn't Raffa & Mr Evans isn't, unless advised otherwise, likely to put up the many tens of £ mns needed to get to the promised land. The only way for a small town club is by utilising academy talent

I guess your praying for mm to sign his 2 year extension so he can finish what he's started, then the club can finally be rid of all those pesky football fans who keep turning up every other week hoping for some entertainment.

Agree, I'd honestly bring him in right now as we're not going down and he can get a feel for the place and assess what we need ready for the summer.. The Club needs lifting, we're generally quite a patient lot so we'd give him 4-5 months of settling in, no point sitting and waiting, you need to act fast if the right man is there and I too think he's a good fit for us..
