A fair chunk of the BBC's articles are just reporting on trivial nonsense on social media. Either lobbying for apologies, reporting on apologies or investigating banal posts that have gone viral. Just scroll through their website and look at the petty dross they're reporting on.
'10 funny tweets that sum up a weekend of football' was a particular favourite. Why not use the pool of incredibly expensive pundits to provide some insight or give some coverage to the lower leagues instead of just embedding PaddyPower et al. [Post edited 20 Aug 2018 19:43]
