The fact we're losing a bucket tonne of revenue every given week due to the ground being around 50% full in home ends. Brentford, sure, a pass with it being midweek and the red button factor - which will destroy midweek gates. However, we're in a new era. 18940 v Blackburn, now we're back to this. People go on about the likes of Derby spending big ££££. 25,110 yesterday at Derby. Helps the coffers.

14755 on 08:28 - Sep 23 with 4578 views | TractorWood | £25/£30 to watch you're club die is pretty poor value not that it stops me when I can make it from the Brecks. Sure we've looked a bit clueless this season from wholesale changes but the issue to me will always lay with Evans. Under MM the substance was running through walls, getting the best out of low value, higher wages journeymen or absolute punts. This worked well at keeping us up and occasionally giving us a run towards the playoffs. Under Hurst the budget is broadly the same but the ethos is more focused developing talent, trying to play some semblance of football and we are consistently second best as the players simply aren't good enough. I honestly think our available squad would struggle in league one. Evans' transfer strategy works financially, in the short term but has culminated in the poor start to this season. It has been coming purely from years of selling our best players and replacing them with slightly lower quality ones, using the cash from the sale proceeds against the working capital needed to run us. The question is, what do we do now. Unfortunately, I think ME has two options: 1. Sack Hurst and undermine himself and his ethos, which to be fair, very few people believe is anything more than a shield to not invest properly behind. 2. Give him loads of time, as seems to be his style. Get cut adrift and relegated. Then blame financial fair play.

I was one of those. Wasn’t going to get babysitters and have wife leave work early so I could stand bored out of my brain for 90mins. Don’t think I done the last 5/6 Home games last year, even those under Klug

I'm still not sure of your point? Are you having a go at someone specific? Evans? Hurst? Fans? The attendances were under 10k at the end of MMs tenure so why have you decided to have a pop now? SB

Haha. Yeah the supporters will flock back as soon as he leaves. It takes time and people want a bit of hope...... not sitting bottom with no wins haha Also £30 a pop is hardly attractive.
14755 on 09:00 - Sep 23 with 4399 views | christiand | Is it a surprise? We are team struggling at the foot of the table, playing some appalling stuff and creating very little in the attacking third. I doubt those ingredients are going to entice stay away fans (which I'm one) to flood back to PR to watch.

To be fair c.15,000 doesn't sound too bad for a club that is lives life in the lower half of the championship on a habitual basis. Got any comparable crowds for mid sized Champ clubs that have spent most of the last 5 years in the bottom half of the league?

Well it was.. I couldnt poke up with his dross anymore ( i did manage 8 games last season still) not many in the superfan leagues i know. So far i have only been to 2 games this season, with Millwall it will be 3. I have found better things to do with my time now to be honest. Would i go more if we were fighting for the top 6?maybe.

There’s about the same now, they haven’t. The “I’ll come back when mm goes” have become the “I’ll come back when Evans backs hurst with a real money during the transfer window”
