Spurs v Liverpool 12:54 - May 31 with 2171 viewsMarshalls_Mullet

Would like to see Spurs win, but the re-writing of history is getting a bit far fetched;

Talksport; "Poch is the best pound for pound manager in the Country based on what he has spent... i.e. nothing!!"

....eh??

Hope Spurs win, but I think Liverpool will

My hobbies include being quiet during trips, clapping with songs, and diabetes.

Wouldn't disagree.

Miracle workers, even though they're spending £12 million on sub strikers. Poch has done an outstanding job without having to make up things.

Poll: An interesting day for our politicians, but which one is worse?

Agreed.

£22m for Son.

£25m for Moura.

£42m for Sanchez.

£33m for Sissoka.

Not huge fee's compared to Liverpool and City, but its not exactly a shoestring team.

58 years of not being a domestic champion vs. 29 years of not being a domestic champion. Let's not call it the Champions League, please.

That said, I hope Liverpool trounce Spurs.

I thought Tottenham had peaked under 'Arry. Fair play to them.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

Don't like either club so disapointed one of them are going to win it, probably rather it were Liverpool, said through gritted teeth just so Spurs continue on without a trophy, what is it '91 since their last proper trophy?

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

Why would any of you want Liverpool to win. I really hope Tottenham beat them. They probably won't but nice to see a new team win the Champions league.

That is clearly what they meant but it is a poor basis for an argument isn't it?

They are clearly trying to be clever.

Granny is a right cockney, so Spurs, grudgingly. Though how anyone can want Pool to win anything, ever, is beyond me.

Of all the London clubs Spurs are probably the one I detest the least so would prefer them to win rather than Liverpool.

So that will be a Liverpool win then.

Agree to a point, but it is particularly unusual for any club, let alone a top one, to not make any signings in a Summer window these days

Of course, it can also be argued that that was a positive, in maintaining the balance of the squad, but there’s no doubt that on paper they needed strengthening in some areas compared to the other teams at the top

It's to do with zero net the spend over the last 10 years. And a wage bill about half that of the top few. Pochettino has done well. But has he done well enough? Tomorrow will tell.
