What a brave new world we have entered.

These things always seem to appear overnight, placed under the cover of darkness.

It's creeping back in; they've been cautiously awaiting permission and feel they now have it.

They should at least have to courage of their conviction to put these things up in broad daylight.

These are the same group that callis showed some stickers from earlier, followed by a lengthy debate on what a fascist is...

The fascists are finding their voice again. 38175 (local edition) by DanTheMan 30 Jan 2020 18:02
If you've got a problem with Callis, I suggest taking it up with him instead of dragging me into it.

Although if you're honestly here trying to defend white nationalists, I don't really know what to tell you other than to fook off.

And then everyone asks how this stuff is becoming the norm again.

In part because people want to play pedantic whatteraboutery or get more upset about the names associated with “elements of vs full blown” fascism rather than battling the early signs that result in being too far gone to fix it.

In the end I concluded anyone who didn’t instantly respond pointing out it is bad and not acceptable in that thread is a c*nt. I’m sure there will be people here soon to moan name calling is bad and cheapens debate, but to that I say perhaps if it bothers you be less of a c*nt by, you know, not giving racists a leg to stand on.

I've not read that thread after the first few posts - are there actually posters on here defending things like those stickers?

There were a few outright, then a couple of posters I’d expect to have a better grasp of fascism who felt the most important thing was pointing out there’s some kind of full tick box criteria to it the actions of fascists. And not just the single post, but pages arguing their case and ignoring the actual subject matter.

Centralists, aye?

They weren't defending the stickers to be fair, but were far more interested in how they were labelled fascists that they were that they were white supremacists + antisemites + general fooking cock wombles.

They must feel very proud right now seeing that link. Way to stick it to the right wing. I imagine they’d go to an EDL demo and spend more time moaning about the antiFA counter protest too. Or defend punching literal Nazis.

No tolerance to intolerance.

These and the others stickers are a flick of a pebble away from being your standard right-wing, "I'm-only saying what everyone else is thinking" type crap.

The correct association with fascism clearly made some people a bit edgy and defensive. Hopefully, it might wake them up a little.

You can get off your social media Shetland pony now. Pointing out that you incorrectly label things as fascist when they're not doesn't make anyone in defence of racism, so it'd be appreciated if you could stop implying it. Ta.

Well Footers has added his fantastic two cents, much like he did in the first thread.

He’s either an overly-keen-for-online-troll or has some a rather weird take on fascism. I’d hope the former.

like the flood of turds which have over-run the Labour party since Comrade Corbyn took over!

This right wing vileness will always be there. It has no link whatsoever to BJ.

Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me. Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing. Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial. Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid. Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.
