And then everyone asks how this stuff is becoming the norm again.
In part because people want to play pedantic whatteraboutery or get more upset about the names associated with “elements of vs full blown” fascism rather than battling the early signs that result in being too far gone to fix it.
In the end I concluded anyone who didn’t instantly respond pointing out it is bad and not acceptable in that thread is a c*nt. I’m sure there will be people here soon to moan name calling is bad and cheapens debate, but to that I say perhaps if it bothers you be less of a c*nt by, you know, not giving racists a leg to stand on.

There were a few outright, then a couple of posters I’d expect to have a better grasp of fascism who felt the most important thing was pointing out there’s some kind of full tick box criteria to it the actions of fascists. And not just the single post, but pages arguing their case and ignoring the actual subject matter.
