Tiger King on 09:36 - Apr 19 with 1251 views | urbanblue | I literally just finished watching it. Then did a bit of research and like all these type of documentaries there is fair bit in it that doesn't exactly tell the full story. Five years of filming condensed into seven hours certainly gives the opportunity to show him carrying his gun most of the time. On saying that Joe clearly lost it more as time went on and after one husband left and the other one died.

I'm sure they've left stuff out but he seemed to be convicted of murder for hire on the testimony of two crooks who, if there was an actual plot rather than unsavoury chatter, were equally as culpable as him. Don't get me wrong, Joe is clearly massively dodgy, but the murder for hire case against him didn't sit well.

| Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me.
Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing.
Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial.
Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid.
Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

The investigation and subsequent trial of Joe was incredibly iffy and flawed , however, he was certainly outdone in the dodgy stakes by a lot of the other main characters. It had to be a real life documentary because I'd defy anyone to write that stuff.

Watched Theroux doc last week after finishing Tiger King. Joe Exotic Maldonado Passage maybe a loud mouth gay redneck, but that, I believe is all he is. Personally after watching I felt he was set up by the fella who was always wearing a bandana, Jeff Lowe. Joe didn't help himself by mouthing off so much on tape, but that 's all he was all mouth and no trousers... Oooer missus. b I actually quite liked howling mad Joe Exotic, if only for his employment policy i.e. People who couldn't jobs elsewhere. Oh and who will admit to being jealous of Antle?

Tiger King on 12:39 - Apr 19 with 1062 views | monytowbray | No one on that documentary was a a victim though. They were all sharks swimming in a sea of sharks for a meal and then complaining when they became said meal. But the general public seem suckered by a comedy character whilst ignoring a criminal and neglectful past to celebrate him. It’s almost like there are direct parallels with Trump and Johnson about faux idols.

Tiger King on 14:45 - Apr 19 with 1000 views | itfcjoe | I enjoyed the documentary, and feel he was suckered into the charge by Jeff Lowe - because I don't think he actually wanted it literally done and was willing to pay for it. Lowe saw his chance to get rid of him and set him up. But was a strange show as was addictive viewing, and enjoyable to an extent, but I can't say you rooted for any character, there didn't seem any victim in it, just a bunch of @rseholes who skated a thin line and some had fallen off it by the time of recording, whereas others are yet to.

Who on earth is celebrating him? Every single person I know watched it thinks he was a pretty bad person.

Tiger King on 17:02 - Apr 19 with 901 views | midastouch | That's an old favourite of mine. When the chimp breaks the glass I would of legged it fast! That scene is mentioned here: https://www.radiotimes.com/news/2011-10-30/louis-theroux-gets-to-grips-with-amer "One such encounter involves Cooper, a 120lb chimpanzee who’s on the cusp of sexual maturity at the volatile age of seven. When Cooper’s owners, Jill and Brad James, guide their pet into the garden, Theroux and his crew observe from indoors. It’s a smart move as Cooper immediately bounds over and smashes a window with his paws: “I don’t think he was trying to attack,” says Theroux. “He also spat at me and the cameraman and threw a barrel at us. But I believe he was trying to say, ‘look, this is my territory. I’m the king here.’ “I felt a bit bad for Cooper, really. I think if you caught him on a good day, he’d be very sweet. We just weren’t willing to take the risk. On the one hand, we could have got a really good sequence if we’d been outside. On the other, he might have bitten off my testicles. So I thought we’d skip it.”

It was clear Joe lost the plot more and more as time went on. You can argue he never really cared about the welfare of the animals but by the end he certainly didn't - they became a side show. You would think a few of the others can't be far behind him in terms of jail time. And (that bitch) Carol Baskin is as self indulgent and criminal as the rest of them.
