If we sign him it needs to be as a left winger. He's not all that great at left back but he's quality going forward and gives us good balance on that side. I'm not fussed about singing him if we're going to carry on playing him at full back. It's such a waste. |  |

How good do you think he has been? I was thinking about this the other day, I think hes been alright but I'm not sure I would go further than that. He's had some good moments which help but his overall performances haven't been anything to write home about. Could be just me. |  | | |

Might not necessarily be the case re Downes and Woolfenden. If the market collapses and the fees offered are a pittance not impossible ME might look to wait to see if the market improves in a year's time. Might depend on how desperate he is for cash immediately, of course.
If they are sold fees would be reinvested in the budget but I would guess any incomers in the near future will probably be frees, in part as I would imagine there'll be a fair few decent players at this level out of contract once all this is over. | | | |

They’ll be gone come next season, and would imagine his hospitality side of the business is likewise taking a large hit.
Fees are rarely reinvested in the squad, and when they are it has been with horrendous, truly horrendous recruitment overall.
There will be good frees, as there are most summers, but you’ve got to be able to spot the quality, we rarely do. | |

I know they are just opinion pieces but some say Mbappe and Kane are worth 50 million and Sancho 35 million in the current climate. On a scale Downes and Woolfy will be worth a couple of hundred k. It would be stupid to sell at that price. |  | | |
